Starlight Promotions operates as an Entertainment Agency and an Employment Business. We offer you a choice of artists to make your event special. Whether you prefer jazz or blues or rock we have the band or act for you and we also list some more unusual acts. Although based in Bedfordshire we do cover many other parts of the country.
All the performers listed with us are chosen for their Professionalism and excellence in their field. Our advice is to plan ahead, about six months is fine for bookings. If you leave it any later than that you may be disappointed and find that the band of your choice is already booked! Once you have looked through our lists and listened to the demo. CD’s you will have a good idea what you want. At this point you pay a deposit, which secures the booking, and then sit back and wait; well actually you will be busy organising other things, safe in the knowledge that at the least the music is sorted! The balance of money is due two weeks before the event takes place.
It is very difficult to give costs for our acts because the costs vary depending on how many people are in the band, how far they have to travel and how long they will be performing.
We will guide you through the process of matching your budget to our performers. It couldn’t be simpler than that. We are constantly updating our books with new performers, so don't hesitate to contact us if you are a performer and want some exposure. As members of PRS and MCPS, Starlight is able to offer music publishing, so if you have a song you want to publish, get in touch and we will publish it for you.
