they say...
" We have been gigging now for nearly nine years and have performed in venues as far afield as Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Surrey, Wiltshire and Sussex.

" We have appeared at promotional outings for Capital Radio's Ocean FM, working alongside BBC Click's Spencer Kelly.

" We are a self-sustaining, compact outfit with a conscientious attitude to our performance and our clients.

" Our output is mined from the golden age of 'synthpop', broadly spanning the period between 1979 and 1989. Think Vince Clarke, Gary Numan, Howard Jones and Nik Kershaw and you'll be just about there!

" Our basic show comprises two full one hour sets with two encores, roughly thirty songs. The first set is a basic 'who we are' set containing classic synthpop from the likes of OMD, Tears for Fears and the Eurythmics. The second set pumps up the energy with more 'danceable' numbers, finishing with classics from Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and Erasure. During the second encore, we invite an audience member up to duet with Vic on the Human League's 'Don't You Want Me, Baby?'

" We are compatible with any alternatively-booked DJ set up. Can also perform a negotiated third set which contains other hits from this period.
" We unfortunately do not perform requests, unless they feature in our set lists. We also do not perform pre-ordered songs or songs outside of the genre.

" We have the following equipment:
Computer based MIDI and Audio sequencing package
PA is a four piece 'Carlsboro' powered system producing 1.8Kw which can be expanded as required.
Monitoring is two powered 300w units.
We have an extensive and effective DMX lighting array with moving heads, scanners, static lights, lasers and a smoke machine.

The Stoners

Fresh from their 2009 U.S. Summer Tour, The Stoners are led by their Italian-American singer, Domenico Scola, whose stage presence is nothing short of electrifying. Scola is joined by a group of Italian musicians who have decades of experience between them. This summer (2009), The Stoners packed houses with their energetic shows from Boston down to Washington D.C. They emit a contagious energy that begins at the instant the first guitar chord is struck and lasts well beyond the moment that the crowd chants beneath the stage for "one more song". They have playing together since 2002, playing regularly in the Italian capital, but also in all parts of north and south Italy. They have also played in Germany.

The Blue Meanies

The Blue Meanies are The Ultimate Beatles Experience!

Based in the north of England, The Blue Meanies were formed in 1997 and, although they have been together for nine years, the oldest member of the band is ony 30 years old, so in appearance they are just like the original Beatles. They are the only Beatle Tribute Band to have played on the same bill as Sir Paul McCartney in 2002, at the Liverpool Empire.

The band have a great authentic sound and if you listen to the CD, it is hard to tell any difference from the real thing. They use the same equipment as The Beatles did in the sixties.

The band is based in the north of England but have travelled to Holland, Belgium, Spain, Russia and Germany.

Demo CD availble on request.

Slyde

Slyde are a 4 piece Slade Tribute band from Bucks who pay homage to the mighty British institution that is Slade , and faithfully replicate the bawdy
singalong tunes , the glam and glitter excess , and the raw rock 'n' roll
power that was the black country legends calling card during their early
seventies heyday !

the original tartan trousered Glam Rock God , Slyde will take 3 decades off the clock for you , back to a time when British Glam Rock was setting the standard worldwide for genuine goodtime party rock 'n roll .

glam classics and bell bottomed gems spilling from the brim of a mirror
festooned top hat !

Band Manners

A continual high level of performance over the last 25 years has rightly earned BAD MANNERS their reputation as a magnificent live band from their beginnings as a school group in 1976, throughout their chart success of the 80's (11 to twenty hits), and until the present day this merry troupe of ska troubadours have maintained a punishing live schedule and deserve their billing as "the hardest working band on the planet".

They have been fronted from day one by Buster Bloodvessel, a man of gargantuan proportions, one of the biggest voices in show business with the ebullient personality to match. The unparalleled longevity of their success, coupled with Buster's ability to secure a place in the nation's heart and collective consciousness are a testament to his enduring self-belief, and the bands "consummate talent, unbounded energy and vigor" are currently enjoying success at their live gigs in the U.K.

The Bees Knees

The Bees Knees are the most realistic tribute to the Bee Gees that you will ever see or hear. As the trio appear on the stage you can just feel the air of amazement by the audience. The Bees Knees have gone to great lengths to be certain that not only is the music very accurate, but that they look and act every inch as the Gibb brothers. All the great songs, the harmony voices, the look (modern or 70’s / 80’s style), the mannerisms and the dry humour – all are faithfully re-created. From the first opening song of ‘You Should Be Dancing’, all the way through the romantic ballads such as ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and finally into the fantastic disco film tracks such as ‘Night Fever’ and ‘Stayin’ Alive’, you can be forgiven for thinking that the real Bee Gees are there with you. The members of the Bees Knees have worked together since 1990 and have performed all over the world, including Europe, the U.S.A and Asia. They regularly host sell-out concerts at our many national theatres and have performed at all the top London venues and hotels.
